Ok, I get it. I really do.
We tried to fix the water-in-the-garden issue, but Mr. Dark Sky fought back with all he had. This whole torrential-rain-every-other-day, whip-the-wind-around, and drop-some-hail thing...I get it.
Someone really doesn't want me to have a garden this year.
Walking the fence line after all these storms might soon require a raft.
And we recently learned that when we get a lot of rain...
...the groundwater seeps in and fills up the gutters of the barn.
Is this normal? Because I must have missed this chapter in the "First Year on a Farm" Manual.
But you know us farmish folk. We won't let us get it down. Because even though constant rain will kill your garden, it makes for one heck of a lot of fun with the four wheelers.
Yep, after the storms...we have fun.
I think the state of that farmboy's shirt says it all. :)
