Beautifully distracting. Watch out.

Life on a farm is dangerous. You've always got to be watching for what's out there. Keep alert.

Especially on a lawnmower.

Because this might happen:

Some of us, distracted by the beauty of the farm and all the animals that reside on it, plow into the laundry line and suck their husband's shirts up into the blades of the mower.

Don't worry, Dog Lovin' Mama. I won't mention any names.

Did you know that if you suck a t-shirt up into the mower, it's quite a process to untangle everything and get the mower running again?

Am I sorry that Pistol Packin' Papa lost his shirt?

Yes.

Am I sorry that my farm is so beautifully distracting?

Nope. Not a bit. ;)

  1. We've run up twine from the straw and hay. Not fun to get off the mower blade.

  6. How funny.

Tell the one you didn't mention that it's okay. Hubby does stuff like that all the time.

  7. Hmm...sounds familiar:)
I've run over many a thing in the yard by paying more attention to the view than the mowing!

  8. Almost as much fun as running over a string with the tiller. It only takes a second to wrap anything around a tiller or mower.
