A puppy. Well, Sorta.

I know how hard it is to wait for pictures of something cute...and I'm sorry.

On Sunday, I promised pictures of a certain new canine to be posted yesterday. But due an epic computer fail, that didn't happen. :(

So anyhow, computer is fixed....and here you go! Introducing Cash, our new black lab/golden retriever "pup".

He's named after Johnny Cash, the man in black. :)

Cash is six months old, so I guess technically he's still a puppy. But he's almost as big as Nellie, so it's hard to think of him as a puppy puppy.

That is...until he runs around with his boundless energy. Or whines at night. Or chews...chews...chews...

Cash is a snuggler. He thinks he fits in your lap.

We play along so he doesn't feel bad.

He has two speeds - gogogogogogogo and...well, whatever this is called:

There's no in between. But that's life with a puppy - go until you crash.

Actually, go until you crash is pretty much explains how life is on a farm. So I think Cash will fit in just great. :)

  3. Love my dogs, all of them, and a farm isn't a farm unless there are dogs, cats, sheep, horses, alpacas...no! Wait! I need to STOP!

  4. What a beauty! I LOVE labs--as you can tell my my online name of labbie1. Great dogs, as are Goldens, but you really have to love them from 6 months to 18 months while they do the chewing stage thing! Wow! So cute! Congrats on a great dog!

    1. Awww.....thanks! (Actually, as he was laying across all of us, being completely spoiled, I said "He's probably wanting to send an email to his old home to let them know he's gonna be ok.") :)

  10. What a cutie pie. He will bring you lots of smiles and laughter. He sounds just like our lab. Mind you our lab just turned 9 and he still acts like a puppy, still chews on stuff, and thinks he is small enough to be a lap dog even though he weighs 90 pounds and is huge. He is such a sweetie though.
